Crafted by Nicolas Carmarans from old organically farmed vines in the limestone-rich hills of the Lot, the wine reflects a fiercely low-intervention philosophy focused on purity, freshness and transparent terroir expression. “Nigrine” is a strikingly elegant and lifted interpretation of Malbec, far removed from heavier modern styles, showcasing energy, savoury complexity and remarkable finesse. The nose reveals black cherry, wild blackberry and plum layered alongside violet, crushed herbs, graphite and subtle earthy spice, giving the wine impressive aromatic depth and freshness.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, vibrant natural acidity and a tightly focused mineral core.
