Produced from younger Pinot Noir vines in the La Moussière vineyard on clay-limestone and Kimmeridgian marl soils, the wine reflects the cool precision and mineral freshness that distinguish great Loire Valley Pinot Noir. The nose reveals sour cherry, redcurrant and wild raspberry layered alongside violet, subtle spice and gentle earthy notes, giving the wine impressive lift and finesse.
On the palate, it is light to medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, vibrant natural acidity and a beautifully detailed mineral core.
