The 2025 Moorooduc Estate Chardonnay is a fresh and beautifully textured cool-climate Chardonnay from Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. Moorooduc Estate was established by Richard and Jill McIntyre in 1982 and remains family-owned, with Richard McIntyre, Kate McIntyre MW and Jeremy Magyar forming the winemaking team. The estate works with fruit from five Mornington Peninsula vineyards and follows a hands-on, minimal-intervention philosophy built around regenerative farming and small-batch wild yeast fermentation. The 2025 Chardonnay opens with white peach, fleshy lemon and lemon barley aromas, complemented by a distinctive salty mineral character.
