QUERCIABELLA
Querciabella is an acclaimed organic and biodynamic winery located in Greve in Chianti, at the heart of Tuscany, Italy. Founded in 1974 by Giuseppe “Pepito” Castiglioni, Querciabella has long been recognized for its pioneering approach to sustainable viticulture and its commitment to producing elegant, terroir-driven wines that combine traditional Tuscan character with modern finesse. Today, the estate is managed by Giuseppe’s son, Sebastiano Cossia Castiglioni, who has elevated Querciabella’s global reputation while maintaining a deep respect for nature and the environment.
Querciabella’s wine range reflects both tradition and innovation. Its Chianti Classico DOCG is a benchmark for modern Sangiovese—vibrant, pure, and refined—while Camartina, a Super Tuscan blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese, showcases the estate’s international acclaim for structure and aging potential. Other notable labels include Batàr, a Burgundian-inspired blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco often compared to fine white Burgundy, and Mongrana, a Maremma-based red that delivers outstanding value and accessibility.
Through its holistic philosophy, meticulous craftsmanship, and uncompromising commitment to sustainability, Querciabella continues to represent the pinnacle of conscientious Italian winemaking. Its wines express both the richness of Tuscany’s terroir and the forward-thinking spirit of a winery that has long been ahead of its time.
