POLIZIANO

Poliziano is a highly regarded winery based in Montepulciano, Tuscany, Italy, known for producing some of the finest expressions of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG. Founded in 1961 by Dino Carletti, the estate is now run by the Carletti family, with a strong focus on quality, innovation and terroir expression.

The winery works primarily with Sangiovese (locally known as Prugnolo Gentile), often complemented by small amounts of Colorino, Canaiolo and Merlot, crafting wines that balance tradition with modern precision. Poliziano vineyards are planted on clay and sandy soils, ideal for producing wines with structure, depth and elegance.

Poliziano wines are known for their ripe red cherry, plum and spice flavours, supported by smooth tannins and refined oak integration. The style is typically rich yet balanced, offering both immediate drinkability and ageing potential.
