Located at the foot of the dramatic Dentelles de Montmirail mountain range, Pierre Amadieu farms some of the highest-altitude vineyards in Gigondas. These elevated sites benefit from cooler temperatures and significant day-night temperature variation, allowing grapes to ripen slowly while retaining freshness, balance, and aromatic complexity.

The estate is particularly renowned for its Gigondas wines, which are primarily based on Grenache, supported by Syrah and Mourvèdre. These wines typically display aromas of blackberry, black cherry, plum, garrigue, liquorice, pepper, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, they combine concentration, structure, silky tannins, and remarkable depth, offering both immediate appeal and excellent ageing potential.
