NERO D'AVOLA
Nero d'Avola is Sicily’s most important and widely planted red grape variety, often regarded as the flagship grape of the island. Named after the town of Avola in southeastern Sicily, Nero d'Avola has become internationally recognised for producing wines that combine richness, concentration, and vibrant Mediterranean character.

Oak-aged examples often develop additional notes of chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, and earthy complexity.

While most commonly produced as a single-varietal wine, Nero d'Avola is also used in blends to add depth, colour, and richness.
