LUNA ESTATE

Luna Estate is a boutique winery in Martinborough, which is part of the Wairarapa wine region in New Zealand.  The estate includes two key vineyards — Eclipse and Blue Rock — each with its own distinct soil profile and character. 

The winery is well known for its Pinot Noir, but it also produces a broader portfolio including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Rosé, and Syrah.  Their approach to viticulture is thoughtfully organic, and they focus heavily on expressing the terroir of their vineyards. 

At Luna Estate, winemaking is done with care: fruit is hand-harvested, and Pinot Noir undergoes cold soak, gentle extraction, and ageing in oak.  Their Eclipse Chardonnay is full with notes of white peach, citrus, lees, and a long, smooth finish.

Luna Estate is celebrated both for its elegant, site-driven wines and for being a relaxed, beautiful destination — a place to taste, dine, and soak in the peaceful vineyard landscapes under the “watchful eye of the moon.”
