Guerrieri Rizzardi is one of Italy's oldest and most distinguished family-owned wineries, with a history dating back to 1678. Formed through the union of the Guerrieri and Rizzardi families, the estate has spent more than three centuries producing exceptional wines across some of Veneto's most prestigious appellations, including Valpolicella, Bardolino, Soave, and Lugana.
The winery owns vineyards in several of Veneto's finest growing areas, allowing each wine to express the unique character of its origin. Produced from traditional local varieties including Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara, the reds display aromas of black cherry, dried plum, blackberry, cocoa, spice, tobacco, and Mediterranean herbs. Amarone is rich and powerful yet beautifully balanced, while Valpolicella and Bardolino offer freshness, vibrant red fruit, and refined structure. The winery also produces elegant Soave from Garganega, delivering citrus, pear, white flowers, almond, and distinctive mineral character.
The estate follows a philosophy centred on sustainable viticulture, meticulous vineyard management, and respect for tradition. Modern winemaking techniques are carefully integrated with historic practices, including the appassimento method used for Amarone, where grapes are naturally dried to concentrate flavour and complexity before fermentation.
