FREEMARK ABBEY

Freemark Abbey is one of the most historic wineries in Napa Valley, with origins dating back to 1886. As one of Napa’s pioneering estates, Freemark Abbey played an important role in establishing the region’s global reputation for premium wine, particularly during the modern revival of Napa Valley in the 20th century.

Located in the Rutherford AVA, the winery is best known for producing Cabernet Sauvignon that captures the classic structure and depth of Napa Valley. Freemark Abbey also produces high-quality Chardonnay and Merlot, crafted with a focus on balance, elegance and vineyard expression.

The wines are typically rich and layered, showing flavours of blackcurrant, plum, cedar and spice, supported by fine tannins and excellent ageing potential. The estate combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern precision, resulting in wines that are both powerful and refined.
