Light to mid-yellow colour with a toasty, nutty bouquet reflecting age on lees, a hint of parsnip, celery and lemon-citrusy chardonnay notes. The palate is powerful: quite full-bodied and firm with structure and persistence. Lively acidity gives a tang along the sides of the tongue. Very smart wine.
