Domaine Pierre Usseglio & Fils is one of the most respected family-owned estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, renowned for producing rich, complex, and age-worthy wines that exemplify the finest traditions of the Southern Rhône. Founded in 1948 by Italian-born Pierre Usseglio after settling in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the estate has grown into one of the appellation's benchmark producers while remaining under family ownership.

Today, the domaine is managed by Pierre's sons, Jean-Pierre and Thierry Usseglio, who continue the family's dedication to traditional viticulture and meticulous winemaking. The estate farms over 35 hectares of vineyards across many of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's finest terroirs, including parcels planted with old vines that contribute exceptional concentration and complexity.

The vineyards are spread across the appellation's famous galets roulés, sandy soils, limestone, and clay, providing ideal conditions for Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Counoise, and the other traditional Rhône varieties. Domaine Pierre Usseglio & Fils is best known for its Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge, predominantly based on old-vine Grenache with complementary Rhône varieties. The wines display aromas of blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, liquorice, lavender, garrigue, smoked herbs, pepper, and exotic spice. On the palate, they are full-bodied and richly textured, supported by silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and exceptional balance.
