Domaine Naturaliste is a highly regarded winery located in the Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River, Western Australia. Established in 2012 by acclaimed winemaker Bruce Dukes, the winery takes its name from the nearby Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, paying tribute to the natural landscape that shapes its vineyards. Bruce brings over 25 years of experience, including time at renowned wineries like Francis Ford Coppola’s Niebaum-Coppola in Napa Valley and Pierro in Margaret River. His philosophy centers on sustainable farming and minimal intervention, allowing the wines to authentically reflect the terroir.

The winery has achieved significant recognition in the Australian wine industry. In 2020, Domaine Naturaliste was named Best Value Winery in Australia by James Halliday’s Wine Companion. More recently, its 2020 Rebus Cabernet Sauvignon earned a “Best in Show” accolade at the 2023 Decanter World Wine Awards. These honors reflect Bruce Dukes’ commitment to quality across all tiers of production.

Domaine Naturaliste produces wines across three key ranges. The Discovery Series introduces drinkers to Margaret River varietals like Sauvignon Blanc Semillon, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The Direction Series features more refined expressions such as ‘Sauvage’ Sauvignon Blanc, ‘Floris’ Chardonnay, ‘Rebus’ Cabernet Sauvignon, and ‘Rachis’ Syrah. At the top, the Flagship Series showcases the winery’s finest efforts, including ‘Artus’ and ‘Purus’ Chardonnays, ‘Morus’ Cabernet Sauvignon, and ‘Le Naturaliste’ Cabernet Franc.
