Based in the village of Meursault, Domaine Henri Germain farms approximately eight hectares of vineyards across some of Burgundy's most prestigious appellations, including Meursault, Meursault Premier Cru, Chassagne-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru, and Beaune Premier Cru. Through generations of family connections, the estate has acquired exceptional parcels in celebrated vineyards such as Perrières, Charmes, Poruzots, and Morgeot, producing highly sought-after wines that faithfully express their individual terroirs.

The vineyards are planted on the classic limestone and clay soils of the Côte de Beaune, where Burgundy's cool continental climate allows Chardonnay to ripen slowly while preserving freshness, minerality, and aromatic complexity. The wines display aromas of lemon, white peach, pear, hazelnut, citrus blossom, flint, and subtle buttered brioche, combining richness with vibrant acidity and exceptional mineral tension. The small production of Pinot Noir offers elegant red fruit, spice, and refined structure in a classic Burgundian style.

Domaine Henri Germain follows a meticulous, low-intervention philosophy in both vineyard and cellar. Organic farming principles, naturally low yields, hand harvesting, indigenous yeast fermentation, and extended ageing on fine lees are central to the estate's approach. The wines mature patiently in French oak with only a modest proportion of new barrels, and bâtonnage is generally avoided, allowing each cuvée to develop remarkable purity, energy, and longevity.
