Château Durfort-Vivens is a historic Second Growth (Deuxième Cru Classé) estate in Margaux, recognised in the prestigious 1855 Bordeaux Classification. In the cellar, the château has also explored maturation in amphorae alongside traditional French oak, seeking purity and reduced influence from the ageing vessel.
