Under the direction of winemaker Bérénice Lurton, the estate has gained recognition for its focus on elegance, freshness, and precision in dessert wine production.

The vineyards benefit from Bordeaux’s unique microclimate, where morning mist and warm afternoons encourage the development of noble rot (Botrytis cinerea), essential for producing complex sweet wines. Limestone and clay soils contribute freshness, balance, and mineral tension to the wines.

Château Closiot is particularly known for Semillon-based sweet wines that display layers of apricot, citrus peel, honey, marmalade, white flowers, and spice balanced by vibrant acidity and freshness.
