CHANTEREVES

Chantereves is one of Burgundy's most respected modern micro-négociants, producing elegant, terroir-driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from carefully selected vineyards across the Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. Founded in 2010 by the husband-and-wife team of Tomoko Kuriyama and Guillaume Bott, Chantereves has quickly gained an international reputation for its refined, minimal-intervention wines that faithfully express the individuality of Burgundy's finest vineyard sites. The name Chantereves, meaning "singing dreams", reflects the founders' shared vision of crafting wines with purity, precision, and emotion.

Based in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Chantereves works with a network of exceptional growers farming vineyards in renowned appellations including Saint-Romain, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses, Chorey-lès-Beaune, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Marsannay, and Santenay. Fruit is sourced from sustainably and organically farmed vineyards wherever possible, with limestone-rich soils and Burgundy's cool continental climate providing ideal conditions for wines of elegance, freshness, and remarkable site expression.

Chantereves is best known for its Bourgogne Chardonnay, Bourgogne Pinot Noir, and a range of village-level and Premier Cru bottlings. The Chardonnays display vibrant citrus, white peach, pear, crushed stone, and subtle hazelnut notes with exceptional mineral tension and precision. The Pinot Noirs offer aromas of red cherry, raspberry, rose petals, spice, and delicate earthy complexity, supported by silky tannins and lively natural acidity. Every wine is produced in very limited quantities, with an emphasis on transparency rather than power.

Winemaking follows a strict low-intervention philosophy inspired by the great traditional domaines of Burgundy. Grapes are harvested by hand, fermented using indigenous yeasts, and handled gently throughout the cellar. White wines are pressed slowly and matured in older French oak barrels with minimal bâtonnage, while red wines undergo gentle extraction to preserve finesse and aromatic purity. Sulphur additions are kept to a minimum, allowing each vineyard's personality to shine through naturally.

Despite its relatively young history, Chantereves has become one of Burgundy's most admired boutique producers, receiving praise from critics including Jasper Morris MW, Vinous, and Burghound. Collectors and sommeliers value the domaine for its elegant style, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to produce authentic Burgundian wines that beautifully reflect their vineyard origins.
