The 2023 Camille Giroud Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Tonton Marcel is a refined Premier Cru Chardonnay from Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune. It opens with lemon, white peach and orchard fruit, complemented by subtle floral notes and stony minerality.
On the palate, it is focused and balanced, combining bright acidity with a smooth texture and flavours of citrus, stone fruit and gentle savoury notes. A chalky, saline edge leads into a long, clean and mineral finish.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Chardonnay drinkers who enjoy fresh, mineral-driven white Burgundy. Best enjoyed from 2026–2035. Serve lightly chilled with grilled seafood, roast chicken, scallops or mushroom risotto.
