The 2019 Domaine Goisot Bourgogne Côtes d’Auxerre Le Court Vit Blanc is a superb biodynamic Chardonnay from one of the leading estates in northern Burgundy. Sourced from a rocky, southwest-facing Kimmeridgian limestone slope near Saint-Bris, the vineyard was replanted by Guilhem Goisot and has quickly become one of the domaine’s standout sites. The wine combines the mineral precision of Chablis with the texture and depth of the Côte d’Or.
The nose reveals grapefruit, mandarin and white peach with subtle petrol and smoky mineral notes. On the palate, it is textured and vibrant, with layers of citrus, orchard fruit and chalky minerality balanced by bright acidity and a gently waxy texture. The finish is long, saline and beautifully focused. Neal Martin awarded the wine 91 points, praising its balance, weight and persistence.
