BRUNO ROCCA
Bruno Rocca is one of the most respected family estates in Barbaresco, Piedmont, renowned for producing elegant, terroir-driven wines from some of the region’s finest vineyard sites. The Rocca family has farmed vineyards in Barbaresco since the 1950s, with the winery established in its modern form by Bruno Rocca in the late 1970s.
Today the estate is run by Francesco and Luisa Rocca, who continue the family tradition of crafting expressive wines from prestigious crus such as Rabajà, one of the most celebrated vineyards in Barbaresco. The winery focuses primarily on Nebbiolo, producing structured and age-worthy Barbaresco, alongside small quantities of Barbera and other Piedmontese varieties.
Bruno Rocca wines are known for their balance of power and elegance, combining Nebbiolo’s classic aromas of rose, red cherry and spice with refined tannins and remarkable ageing potential. Through careful vineyard management and precise winemaking, the estate has established itself as a benchmark producer in Barbaresco DOCG.
