Based in South Australia's iconic Barossa Valley, Brothers at War sources fruit from carefully selected vineyards across the Barossa and neighbouring Eden Valley. The region's warm days, cool evenings, and diverse soils of clay, loam, and ancient schist create ideal conditions for producing concentrated fruit with excellent balance, structure, and ageing potential. Long-standing relationships with experienced growers ensure consistently high-quality fruit from some of the region's most respected vineyard sites.

The winery is best known for its Shiraz, Grenache, Mataro (Mourvèdre), GSM blends, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Rosé. The flagship Shiraz delivers layers of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, black pepper, and spice with velvety tannins and refined oak integration. Rhône-inspired blends combine richness with freshness, while Grenache highlights vibrant red berry fruit, floral aromatics, and savoury complexity, reflecting the evolving style of contemporary Barossa wines.

Winemaking at Brothers at War focuses on expressing vineyard character with minimal unnecessary intervention. Small-batch fermentation, gentle extraction, careful barrel maturation, and restrained use of French and American oak allow the wines to retain freshness and varietal purity while building texture and complexity.
