Valenciso is a distinguished winery located in La Rioja, Spain, founded in 1998 by Luis Valentín and Carmen Enciso, who combined their surnames to name the winery.  With over 36 years of winemaking experience in La Rioja, they have established a reputation for producing high-quality wines that balance tradition with modernity.

The flagship Rioja Reserve, is crafted exclusively from Tempranillo grapes. It is known for its deep cherry red color and expressive bouquet featuring cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and plums, subtly accented with spice, earth, and leather notes. On the palate, it offers supple tannins and a satisfying, enduring finish.

Valenciso emphasizes balance in their wines, aiming for early accessibility without sacrificing structure and aging potential. Their wines are known for fresh acidity and intense fruit flavors, promising many years of bottle evolution.  Aging takes place in high-quality French oak barriques, with one-third replaced each year, and the duration in oak is determined after meticulous tasting to align with the vintage’s characteristics.
