THIERRY ET PASCALE MATROT
Domaine Matrot is a family-owned winery located in Meursault, Burgundy, France, with a history spanning six generations since its establishment in 1835. Thierry and Pascale Matrot managed the estate for several decades, upholding traditional winemaking practices and expanding the vineyard holdings. In recent years, their daughters, Adèle and Elsa Matrot, have taken over the management and winemaking responsibilities, ensuring the continuation of the family’s legacy.
The domaine is renowned for producing high-quality wines that reflect the distinct terroir of Meursault. Their portfolio includes both white and red Burgundies, with a focus on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varietals. The Meursault wines, in particular, are celebrated for their complexity and elegance, offering aromas of white flowers, citrus, and mineral notes, complemented by energetic palates with bright citrus and orchard fruit flavors.
