PIEROPAN

Pieropan is a historic family-owned winery located in Soave, Italy, renowned for its high-quality white wines, particularly Soave Classico. Established in 1880 by Leonildo Pieropan, the winery has been instrumental in elevating the reputation of the Soave appellation.

The estate encompasses approximately 35 hectares of organically farmed vineyards situated on the stony hills of Soave Classico in northeastern Italy. Pieropan was the first producer to bottle a wine with the name Soave on the label in the early 1930s, and their Soave remains a flagship product.

In the 1970s, third-generation winemaker Leonildo “Nino” Pieropan introduced single-vineyard Soave wines, notably Calvarino in 1971 and La Rocca in 1978, showcasing the potential of the Garganega grape and the unique terroirs of the region. These innovations positioned Pieropan as a pioneer in the Soave region.
