On the nose, an aroma of strawberry jam enhanced with spices (black pepper) and menthol, is prolonged by touches of ripe summer fruits: peach, nectarine and apricot.
This wine presents a greedy tension: aromas of ripe black cherry are balanced by a note of blood orange bringing an enveloping tangy freshness. The salty finish recalls the minerality of the Chardonnays dominating this blend. 72% Chardonnay and 28% Pinot Noir.
