The 2019 Dr Edge Chardonnay is a beautifully precise and energetic expression of Tasmanian Chardonnay from winemaker Peter Dredge, one of the key figures in Tasmania’s modern wine scene. Dredge established Dr Edge after working with Brian Croser at Petaluma and later moving to Tasmania, where he also became closely involved with Meadowbank. The 2019 Chardonnay is a blend of fruit from three distinct Tasmanian regions: approximately 60% Derwent Valley, 30% Tamar Valley and 10% East Coast, effectively bringing together different cool-climate expressions of the island in a single wine.
