Weingut Dönnhoff is a renowned German winery located in Oberhausen an der Nahe, within the Nahe wine-growing region of Rhineland-Palatinate. The Dönnhoff family has been cultivating vineyards in this area for over 250 years, with the first official mention of their name dating back to 1761. Initially operating a traditional farm that included livestock and various crops, the family shifted focus toward viticulture in the 1920s under the direction of Hermann Dönnhoff
The estate primarily focuses on Riesling, which accounts for 80% of their plantings, with the remaining 20% dedicated to Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. Dönnhoff produces a range of wines from dry to sweet, all showcasing the characteristic minerality and elegance of the Nahe region. Their Rieslings are celebrated for their purity, balance, and expressive fruit flavors.
