Domaine François Raveneau is widely celebrated as one of the most prestigious estates in Chablis and arguably across Burgundy. Founded in 1948 when François Raveneau consolidated vineyards he acquired, including those of his wife’s eminent Dauvissat family, the estate was among the first in the region to bottle its own Chardonnay rather than sell fruit to larger domaines  .
