DOMAINE COMTE GEORGES DE VOGUE
Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, located in Chambolle-Musigny in Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, is one of the region’s most esteemed and historic estates, with origins tracing back to 1450. Remaining in the same family for over five centuries, the domaine is now guided by descendants of Comte Georges de Vogüé. It owns some of the most coveted vineyards in Burgundy, including 7.2 hectares of Musigny Grand Cru, 2.7 hectares in Bonnes-Mares, and a precious 0.56 hectares of Les Amoureuses Premier Cru. The estate’s focus is exclusively on Pinot Noir, and the winemaking philosophy is one of minimal intervention—emphasizing terroir expression, finesse, and ageability. The Musigny Vieilles Vignes, made from old vines, is considered a benchmark for elegance and complexity, while Bonnes-Mares displays greater structure and depth. With its meticulous viticulture and classic Burgundian restraint, Comte de Vogüé remains a touchstone for lovers of Pinot Noir.
