CULLEN
Cullen Wines is one of the most respected wineries in Margaret River, Western Australia, known for producing premium, terroir-driven wines with a strong focus on sustainability and biodynamic viticulture. Founded in 1971 by Dr Kevin and Diana Cullen, the estate played an important role in establishing Margaret River as one of Australia’s world-class wine regions.
Located in the heart of the Wilyabrup subregion, Cullen’s vineyards benefit from a maritime climate, gravelly soils, and cooling ocean breezes. These conditions create ideal growing environments for Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, the two flagship varieties of Margaret River.
Cullen Wines is best known for its iconic Diana Madeline Cabernet Sauvignon blend, widely regarded as one of Australia’s benchmark Cabernet-based wines. The winery also produces highly acclaimed Kevin John Chardonnay, along with a range of elegant and expressive wines that reflect the character of Margaret River.
Today, under the leadership of winemaker Vanya Cullen, Cullen Wines continues to champion biodynamic farming and minimal intervention winemaking, producing wines that are celebrated for their purity, balance, and ageing potential.
