2014 Crawford River Cabernet Sauvignon

Mulberry and Morello cherry make up most of the fruit spectrum here, which is overlayed with baking spice and delicate anise notes together with rich, baked blood plums. The wine shows significant palate weight, yet has a lightness of touch throughout, with silky but firm tannins supporting the aromatic, medium bodied frame. The judicious use of 100% French oak goes hand in hand with this frame, enhancing layers of spice, liquorice and fruit. All of these components combine to create an elegant shape, harmonious balance and soft, supple finish.
