CHATEAU MOUTON ROTHSCHILD

Château Mouton Rothschild is a prestigious wine estate located in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France. In 1922, Baron Philippe de Rothschild took control of the estate, ushering in an era of innovation. Notably, in 1924, he initiated the practice of bottling the entire harvest at the château, a move that asserted the estate’s control over production and set a precedent in the Bordeaux region. 

Château Mouton Rothschild is renowned for its exceptional wines, characterized by depth, complexity, and the ability to evolve gracefully over decades. The grand vin consistently receives high acclaim, highlighting its sumptuous and powerful profile. 

In 1973, Château Mouton Rothschild achieved a historic milestone by being elevated from a Second Growth to a First Growth status in the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855, reflecting its unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.
