CHATEAU LATOUR

Château Latour is one of the most prestigious wine estates in the world, located in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France. As a First Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, it enjoys an iconic status for producing wines of exceptional quality, structure, and longevity. Situated on the Médoc’s Left Bank, the estate’s vineyards benefit from deep gravel soils that provide excellent drainage and contribute to the power and elegance of its wines.

The history of Château Latour dates back to at least the 14th century, though its rise as a premier wine estate began in the 17th century. Its reputation was further solidified in 1855 when it was ranked among the First Growths. Since 1993, the estate has been owned by François Pinault’s Artemis Group, which has made significant investments to maintain and enhance its high standards. The estate produces three wines: the flagship Château Latour, known for its depth and aging potential; Les Forts de Latour, a sophisticated second wine; and Pauillac de Latour, an accessible yet refined third wine.
