The 2022 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, which is continuing its elevage in foudre, unwinds in the glass with notes of citrus oil, pear, hazelnuts, fresh mint and subtle reduction. Full-bodied, layered and chalky, with a rich core of fruit that's still youthfully tightly wound, it concludes with a long, resonant finish. It's one of the high points of the range this year.
