ANDRE CLOUET
André Clouet is a historic, family-owned Champagne house based in the village of Bouzy, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, Champagne, France. The Clouet family has been growing grapes and making wine in Bouzy since the 18th century, and their deep roots in the region are reflected in both their winemaking philosophy and their dedication to expressing the character of Bouzy’s renowned terroir. The house is best known for producing Pinot Noir–dominant Champagnes from Grand Cru vineyards, offering wines that combine richness, finesse, and precision.
The estate is run today by Jean-François Clouet, who has modernized production while preserving traditional methods passed down through generations. All grapes used in André Clouet Champagnes come from the family’s own vineyards in Bouzy and Ambonnay, two of Champagne’s most prestigious Grand Cru villages. The wines are vinified and aged in the family’s historic cellars beneath Bouzy, where Jean-François focuses on crafting Champagnes that balance expressive fruit with purity and elegance.
André Clouet’s lineup includes several highly regarded cuvées, such as the Grande Réserve Brut, a rich, fruit-forward expression of Pinot Noir; the Silver Brut Nature, a no-dosage Champagne prized for its precision and minerality; and the Rosé No. 3, celebrated for its bright red fruit and creamy texture. At the top of the range is the “Dream Vintage” series, a collection of vintage Champagnes that showcase exceptional years with remarkable depth and longevity.
Blending heritage, craftsmanship, and passion, André Clouet remains a standout among grower-producers in Champagne. Its wines are admired by collectors and connoisseurs alike for offering exceptional quality, distinct terroir expression, and outstanding value among the Grand Cru producers of the region.
