The 2023 Domaines Schlumberger Pinot Blanc Les Princes Abbés is a fresh Alsace white blending 30% Pinot Blanc with 70% Auxerrois. Sourced mainly from vineyards around Saering, Spiegel, Bux and Bollenberg, it shows lemon and white orchard fruit with bergamot, white flowers and subtle fresh herbal notes.
On the palate, it is dry and lively with bright acidity, citrus and white fruit supported by a fine savoury edge. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled large oak tuns, followed by seven months on fine lees, adding gentle texture while retaining freshness. The finish is crisp, floral and persistent.
