The 2022 Bouchard Père & Fils Volnay-Caillerets Ancienne Cuvée Carnot Premier Cru is an elegant Pinot Noir from Burgundy’s Côte de Beaune, showing red cherry, raspberry and red plum with violet, dried flowers and subtle earthy spice.
On the palate, it is refined and finely structured, with bright acidity, silky tannins and layers of red fruit, savoury herbs and gentle mineral character. The finish is dry, balanced and persistent, with excellent potential for further bottle development.
