The 2022 vintage opens with intense aromas of blackberry, black cherry and ripe plum, layered with violet, dark chocolate, warm spice and subtle savoury notes.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and deeply concentrated, with rich dark fruit framed by firm, finely structured tannins and balanced acidity. Flavours of blackberry, plum and blackcurrant are complemented by dark chocolate, spice and subtle oak complexity, leading to a long, powerful and persistent finish. Despite its depth and intensity, the wine retains impressive freshness and balance, with the structure to develop beautifully with extended cellaring.
