The 2025 G.D. Vajra Moscato d’Asti is a fragrant, gently sparkling sweet wine made from 100% Moscato Bianco in Piedmont, Italy. The family estate is based in Vergne, above the town of Barolo, and is admired for wines that combine expressive aromatics with freshness and finesse. Its Moscato comes from steep hillside vineyards around Mango and Santo Stefano Belbo, with mature plantings dating from 1965 onwards. Grapes are harvested entirely by hand and gently pressed, with fermentation carried out in small batches to preserve their perfume. The result is a delicate wine with naturally low alcohol and remarkable aromatic clarity.
Expect pear, apricot and orange blossom, complemented by elderflower, white petals and subtle acacia honey.
