BORGO MARAGLIANO

Borgo Maragliano is a respected sparkling wine producer located in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, Italy, an area better known for Barolo and Barbaresco but increasingly recognised for high-quality Italian sparkling wines. Founded in 1976 by Carlo Galliano, the winery has become a specialist in producing premium sparkling wines using the Traditional Method (Metodo Classico).

The estate focuses primarily on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, crafting elegant sparkling wines that combine Piedmont’s unique terroir with Champagne-style winemaking techniques. The cool hillside vineyards and limestone-rich soils allow the grapes to retain freshness and acidity, resulting in wines with fine bubbles, bright citrus fruit and refined complexity.

Borgo Maragliano is particularly known for its Alta Langa DOCG sparkling wines, a prestigious appellation dedicated to traditional-method sparkling wines from Piedmont.
