The 2025 Two Tonne Tasmania STH Pinot Noir is Ricky Evans’ exploration of southern Tasmania, blending fruit from the Derwent Valley, Coal River Valley and, for the first time, the Huon Valley. The addition of the cool Riverbell Vineyard in the Huon has added extra depth and richness to the wine, while the fruit was handled gently with around 10% whole bunches and matured for 11 months in oak to preserve purity and regional character.
The nose shows black cherry, blackberry, plum and spice, alongside savoury notes of cured meats, forest floor and subtle herbs. The palate is plush and generous, with dark fruits, fine tannins and vibrant acidity creating a wine that is both powerful and elegant. Widely regarded as the most complex and structured of the Three Two Tonne regional Pinot Noirs, it retains the freshness and finesse that define Tasmania.

A beautifully layered Tasmanian Pinot Noir that combines southern Tasmania’s cool-climate elegance with impressive depth and texture. Perfect with duck, roast pork, lamb, mushroom dishes or game birds. Drinking beautifully now, but it has the structure to evolve gracefully through 2033–2035.
