The 2025 Naked Run The First Clare Valley Riesling is a vibrant single-vineyard Riesling sourced from Sevenhill in the heart of Clare Valley. Produced from 100% free-run juice, the vineyard sits at approximately 475 metres above sea level on red-grey loam over sandstone and slate, contributing the crisp acidity and distinctive mineral character that define this award-winning wine. The nose is bright and aromatic, revealing lime zest, lemon blossom, green apple and delicate floral notes with a subtle slate-like minerality.
On the palate, it is light-bodied with lively natural acidity and exceptional precision. Flavours of fresh lime, citrus, crisp green apple and hints of white peach are carried by a clean, mineral-driven finish that is dry, refreshing and beautifully balanced. Enjoyable in its youth, the wine also has the structure to develop classic Riesling complexity over the next 8–10 years. The 2025 vintage was awarded the Best Current Release Riesling Trophy at the 2025 Clare Valley Wine Show.
