The 2023 Lethbridge Bartl Chardonnay is sourced from an old, low-yielding vineyard in Victoria’s Moorabool Valley and represents one of the flagship Chardonnays of Ray Nadeson and Maree Collis. The fruit is hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed and wild fermented in French oak before spending 12 months in barrel. With only 824 bottles produced, it is a highly limited release that showcases the concentration and precision of this exceptional site.
The nose reveals ripe nectarine, white peach and citrus layered with complex spice, subtle oak and flinty mineral notes. The palate is rich yet finely balanced, combining impressive texture and concentration with bright natural acidity from the cool 2023 growing season. Powerful without excess weight, it finishes long, elegant and structured, with excellent ageing potential. The wine was awarded Top Gold and Best Chardonnay at the French-Victorian Wine Show.

A serious cool-climate Chardonnay that comfortably sits among Australia's finest examples. The combination of fruit intensity, texture and freshness makes it a superb match for lobster, roast chicken, grilled prawns, scallops and creamy poultry dishes.
