2022 Shadowfax Geelong Pinot Gris

Light white straw, green hue and brilliant clarity. Nectarine and lychee fruits are complexed by nori and mineral flint. There is a focus and a depth to the nose, with barrel derived complexities and floral notes complementing the more primary fruit aromas. Nectarine and apricot immediately wash across the palate. Papaya, ginger and fresh florals sing through and add length. The palate is generous and luscious, but the healthy acidity maintains vitality and zest. A touch of saltiness on the finish. A great example of maritime Pinot Gris.
