The 2022 Domaine Santa Duc Gigondas Les Hautes Garrigues is a powerful Southern Rhône red showing blackberry, black cherry and plum with garrigue herbs, liquorice, pepper and earthy spice.
On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with vibrant acidity, firm tannins and layers of dark fruit, savoury herbs and stony mineral character. The finish is long, dry and persistent, with excellent structure for further development.

At Wine More Cellars, this is an excellent choice for Rhône drinkers seeking a deeply structured Gigondas with savoury complexity and cellaring potential. Best enjoyed from 2029–2042. Pair with slow-roasted lamb shoulder, venison stew, beef cheek or wild mushroom and lentil casserole.
