The 2022 Château Lafon-Rochet is a distinguished Fourth Growth (4ème Grand Cru Classé) from Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, made from 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot and 4% Cabernet Franc. The nose is concentrated and expressive with blackcurrant, black raspberry and dark cherry, layered with floral notes, cocoa, earthy complexity and distinctive mineral character.
On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with impressive depth, freshness and ripe, fine-grained tannins. The concentrated dark fruit is balanced by mineral and savoury notes, while maturation for at least 12 months in barrel adds structure and complexity through a long, powerful finish.
