The 2021 Hours Jurançon Sec Cuvée Marie is a beautifully expressive dry white from the renowned Clos Uroulat estate in Jurançon, nestled in the foothills of the French Pyrenees. Crafted from 100% Gros Manseng, the grapes are hand-harvested in mid-October before slow, gentle pressing and fermentation, followed by 10 months' maturation in French oak barrels (around 10% new oak). The nose is vibrant and aromatic, offering exotic fruits, white peach and apricot layered with acacia blossom, citrus zest and a distinctive mineral freshness.
On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a rich, rounded texture balanced by lively acidity and impressive precision.
