Warre’s is one of the oldest and most respected Port houses in Portugal, with a history dating back to 1670. Part of the Symington family portfolio, Warre’s is known for producing refined and elegant Port wines that reflect both tradition and terroir.
Located in the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage region, Warre’s sources grapes from prime vineyards including Quinta da Cavadinha and Quinta do Retiro. The region’s steep terraced vineyards, schist soils, and warm climate create ideal conditions for producing concentrated, high-quality Port wines.
Warre’s specializes in a range of Port styles, including Vintage Port, Tawny Port, and Late Bottled Vintage (LBV). The wines are known for their balance and finesse, offering flavors of dark fruit, dried fruit, spice, and chocolate, supported by structure and aging potential.
