The 2024 F.X. Pichler Kellerberg Riesling is a powerful yet precise Wachau white from the renowned Ried Kellerberg vineyard near Dürnstein. The nose shows vineyard peach, white peach and citrus with passionfruit, pineapple, lemon balm and wildflowers, underpinned by a distinctly stony mineral character.
On the palate, it is concentrated and finely structured with vibrant acidity, ripe stone fruit and citrus balanced by pronounced minerality. Lime zest and saline notes provide freshness, while maturation in large oak adds subtle texture without obscuring the fruit. The finish is long, energetic and tightly focused, with excellent potential for bottle development.
