The wine comes across as more introverted on the nose compared to the Village Cru, the fruit a little darker with more sous-bois/tobacco scents. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, cranberry and crushed strawberry mixed with black pepper and a slight graphite note towards the finish.
